Guardian translation question

 Guardian's subtitles inspire many, uh, questions. 

For example, in Episode 25, in the infamous scene where ZYL is pretending to be infected with the alternate personality virus. After SW shoots him down by saying ZYL would never be infected and to cut it out, ZYL shakes his head and says, according to the episode subtitles on youtube: "You have no taste."

HOWEVER, I was watching this vid, which is a very cute and funny take on how ZYL and SW act one way with each other and differently with everyone else. At mark 2:25 they show the same scene, only at the end these subtitles have ZYL saying, "No sense for spicing up the relationship."

That struck me as a very different interpretation, and I'm curious as to which one is more accurate or if what he says could be interpreted both ways. 


I am also curious about a line in Time of Flight. The English lyrics listed on youtube have Zhu Yilong singing: "How much more serious and how firm it is to make a difference; How many exercises will you become like this?"

I can get the first part, but am puzzled by the "exercises" in the second line.  Help anyone?

Yes, they can often be rather puzzling, lol.

I thought it was probably something like that in the lyrics but wasn't sure. I love that idea, of having to keep "practicing" at keeping your determination and resolve. The whole song really speaks to the idea that neither SW nor ZYL find any of this easy and always rely on each other for support.
